Coal Mine Workers Memories

From: Gillian Hamilton
Pit Name:Penallta Colliery
Location:Hengoed MY father Arthur Carey Choppin was born in 1925 in Fleur de Lis and when he was 14 went to work at Penallta Colliery for 20 years. He was an engine operator in the number 2 shaft. He is still alive and is now 91. Does anyone know if there is a museum with the memories he had there or has anyone got any photos you could share with him. We live in New Zealand. Regards Gillian Hamilton (nee Choppin)
