Location:clydach vale tonypandy my fathers name was Richard Hucker died at the cambrian colliery 1965, left his wife Rosie, two daughters Barbara and Denise his wife was also eight months pregnant with a little girl, whom his wife named kathy, my father was 32 years old when he died, going down the pit everyday to earn a living for their family, as many miners did through the years of the coal industry, my father was a popular person leaving family and many close friends, who will never forget him,which are the same circumstances as the other 31 men who were killed on that fateful day
